Training continuation

There is no requirement for any member to cross over with Stockton Divers, should you be happy with your current status and are minimum of third party insured you can remain and be welcomed as you are. 

Here is a list of providers that will enable you to maintain your current independent status

Ocean Diver

The above qualifications are recognised as the equivalent to Ocean Diver and anyone with these qualifications does not have to retrain as a BSAC Ocean Diver. Divers are to dive within the limits of their existing other agency qualifications.

Following an assessment by the club Diving Officer or his Training Officer, credit for existing qualifications may be given towards the next grade. Full details are in the appropriate instructor manual.
